consultants that have major system
implementation consulting experience, preferably in the government
contracting industry. This position is responsible for
working as a team member and individual to provide software implementation
delivery services that ensure quality work products and an integrated
solution in a timely and on budget manner to our clients. This will involve
demonstrating a broad understanding of financial software solutions,
industry best practices, and software implementation knowledge. This
position will operate independently and demonstrates proficiency in
delivering highly functional solutions on engagements applying JAMIS proven
methodology and best practices. This individual will lead or act as team
lead to direct the solution design and configuration to meet client business
needs, and varied implementation aspects of the engagements in coordination
with Project Management. This revenue generating position has performance
metrics tied to results and utilization and will require extensive travel,
up to 50%.
Qualifications:
- Must possess 5-10 years of professional consulting services experience
- Must possess 5-20 years of government contracting industry experience
- B.A./B.S. or equivalent work experience or technical and/or product
knowledge comparable to 4 year degree in a related area.
- Advanced degree or professional certification(s) preferred
- Experienced with all aspects of Microsoft Office products
- Prior travel-related experience preferred (travel up to 50%)

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Cost Accounting, Project Accounting, Resource Planning, ERP Consultant,
Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar
- MUST have other relevant experience (any of the mentioned): JAMIS, SAP,
BAAN, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Timberline, JD Edwards, Solomon,
Lawson, Advantage, Sema4, FMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, Peachtree,
Clearview, Elite, Deltek
- Successful completion of numerous, full lifecycle implementations of a
major enterprise suite
- Proven track record as team lead on numerous full cycle implementations
- Must be able to consult at an executive level and influence process
direction/decisions
- Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and work
with general direction
- Must possess evidence of the ability to develop best practices, guides and
processes
- Strong communication, verbal and written skills required
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Possess a proven record of leading and mentoring junior-level consultants
- Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work as a team member or an individual contributor
